A concept design for a New York Times Magazine table of contents. The focus of this design is based off of the featured article, Insects.

Dissecting Letters
To ensure easy legibility in the table of contents, this page relies solely on type and type as image. By dissecting the letterforms they can be positioned to lead the eye down the page and to other sections. Continually, the dissection of letters serve as a visual clue to the content of the featured article.
